Spirituality and Success? It's All About Attitude
Truly, what you believe, you can achieve. Spirituality and Success in my life?, you may ask. The answer is a resounding YES. It's all about attitude. There is a legend about a sixteenth century sultan who had all the wealth any man could imagine but what he felt was lacking in his existence was wisdom. He collected the most knowledgeable men in the kingdom and sent them to the four corners of the world to collect all the wisdom they could find and return to the kingdom and compile it so that the sultan would then read this and become wise. After return from the journey each got together with the others and a volume was produced. This was however too much for the sultan. The book was reduced to a chapter, then a paragraph, then a sentence and finally a single word. ATTITUDE.
It seems now, that the world's humanity is going through a transformation of conciousness. There is the feeling that material goods are really not enough and something is missing in our lives. There is more and more an opening to the Spirit. There is a whole industry dedicated to this spiritual awakening. This trend can be observed on television, in libraries, bookstores and daily conversations. self-help, personal development, mind development and higher awareness has attracted media attention from Oprah to Larry King to CNN and so on. This and the explosion of the information superhighway known as the internet has created a perfect business atmosphere for a start-up business, a direct sales business or a stay at home business for any entrepreneur. This trend is exploding into a multi-billion dollar a year industry. The marketing of personal development programs based upon The Power of Positive Thinking, The Secret and the like has taken the world by storm. This has become an exceptional opportunity for independent, motivated entrepreneurial minded people to earn substantial incomes while engaging in their own spiritual growth. Thoughts do become things and by changing expectations of what life has to offer and getting rid of limiting beliefs and embracing positive thinking and The Law of Attraction, many have found that anything that we realistically desire can be achieved through right action.
We do have the Infinite at our disposal should we choose to tap into it. The Bible instructs that we have a birthright to abundance and all religions from Islam to Buddhism reflect this same philosophy. But, faith without works is indeed dead. It is ultimately up to us to make a DECISION then ACT. Each is born with unique talents, interests and values. It is really up to us as to how we use them for our own good and the greater good. Unless action is taken, the gifts will atrophy. The decision is ours. If you are happy the way things are going in your life, great. If not, this is a business opportunity you should definitely look into. It has shown to be recession proof. Financial and personal freedom is available along with a residual income in the industry. And, the community spirit of the industry is beyond compare.
The author, Keith Brown, is a retired attorney and real estate agent who is marketing a program of spiritual development and personal development with Liberty League, an eight year old Arizona based company with a presence in over 150 countries.
