Now more than ever in these uncertain economic times, it is believed that the key to recovery will be from the grassroots up and not government bailouts or big corporation restructuring. We've heard all the promises, we've seen billions being thrown about, yet day to day, what has this done for the average american? Answer, not a thing. Investments continue to lag and consumers still have that belt tightened. The key to the survival and growth of the American economy still is the small business, the entrepreneur and now more than ever, the home based business. It is estimated that there are currently 21 million households with home based businesses with that number expected to reach 30 million in the next three years. Small businesses represent more than 99% of all employers in America and according to the US census, more small businesses close each year than open. Yet, the census bureau can't accurately track the home based entrepreneur. With the explosion of the use of the internet and more and more sophisticated techniques being introduced seemingly daily, the days of schlepping inventory are over and working from home is easier and more profitable than ever. There is no recession on the world wide web and there certainly is not one in the self-help/personal development industry. This is making for the "perfect storm" for a home based entrepreneur. Media attention toward personal development is astounding from Oprah to Larry Kng Live to CNN and beyond. Go to any book store and check out the number of spirituality based books, books on personal development and self help if you don't believe this sector is booming. Yes, the economy is in trouble, but this does not mean your economy has to follow suit. Each of us has been blessed with talents, interests and abilities. There has never been a more important time to step up and take control of your personal and financial freedom. THINK BIG. There is still so much to do. Get excited, get a GOAL. Nothing changes if nothing changes. There are two words that wi;; make all the difference in the success of any business endeavor and your personal life. ATTITUDE and GRATTITUDE. It really is this simple. Those adherents to The Law of Attraction will tell you that if you are grateful for what you have, you will attract more of what you want. So, what really is the bottom line? YOU. America has always been a country of self reliant entrepreneurs, it is why we are great. It is time to get rid of FEAR and take some ACTION. Get on board the train before it leaves the station. Find a business you can run from home and find something that the consumer wants and fill this desire. You will succeed.

I would highly encourage any one starting in the business to get a mentor immediately. If you cannot find a mento, make sure the business you are exploring has a proven system in place with demonstrable results.
