There are many popular and favorite online games for teens. A teen wants online games that are exciting and gripping. These games fulfill the wants and desires of children in their teens. They are high speed games and send a rush of adrenaline coursing through the body. Many teens take refuge in online games. They forget all the pressures and troubles of the world and they enter a make belief world in which they are the heroes. These games also help them to relax.  

There are thousands of online games for teens so it is rather difficult to choose the favorite ones because each teen has a different taste and every teen wants something different. However, some of the more popular online games are World of Warcraft (WoW) - This is a multiplayer online role playing game. This game is set in the world of Azeroth. Battlefield 2 is therefore a popular and favorite online game for teens in which the scene of a modern battlefield is created and the player uses modern day weapons to fight the enemies. The game has three difficulty levels which stimulate the competitive spirit of teenagers. Catering to teens wants, this is the third game in the battlefield series. 

Guildwars is another favorite online game for teens that they love. It is a multiplayer online role playing game and has won many awards such as best game, best value and best MMORPG. Satisfying teens wants of not having to pay for online games; this game does not have a subscription fee. 

The dark fantasy theme is used in Diablo 2 is another favorite online game for teens. The hack and slash game play is very popular among teenagers. This game can be played by a single player or by multiple players via LAN or Battle.net. This game is one of the best selling games and features among the top thirty. Children in their teens are in that stage in life when they want to exhibit their masculinity and this game allows the teenager to don the role of a hero and fight monsters. Teenagers also love monsters and magical creatures and this game satisfies teen wants. 

Age of Empires has been an all time favorite online game for teens, both the younger teenagers and the older ones. The series has seven games each of which are played with great enthusiasm and fervor. It was the first game to use settings that were historically accurate. The game spans over a period of 3000 years from the early Stone Age to the late Iron Age. This game caters to the teens wants of living on the edge – being reckless and ruthless. It is a very intense game. 

Another popular game among teens is Never winter Nights. With the help of a game engine, the player must defeat a powerful cult; prevent a city from being attacked and many other such adventures. 

There are many more favorite online games for teens like Dark Forces, Myth, Descent, Rune, Starcraft and Baldur’s Gate 2 etc. All of them cater to teen wants and hence are popular.
