Computer microphones are used for recording and storing voice or music in computers in various formats like wave files and mp3 formats. The normal type of microphones cannot be used, as they need special connectors to use in computers. Not all computers come with built-in microphones. The nature of work decides the model one should opt for. The usage of headsets and wireless are best as they facilitate working with concentration, as we are able to avoid noise distractions. Wireless models are preferred by most of the people, because they come without any wire or connectors.

Nowadays, computer manufacturers provide built-in microphones. They install the microphones in the monitors or keyboards. Laptops usually have this built-in feature.
