The laws of Nature reveal a certain perspective on life. It is like a knowing, or trust, that underneath what seems to be a very serious situation, the worst is really not that bad. This is the mark of an authentic individual, one who has found stillness, and therefore, an unshakable perspective on everyday life. Love means that everyday you are living with authenticity.

True Authenticity means you are living as nature intended you to live. There is no falseness, no reaction to the past, no idolising gurus and mentors. Authenticity simply means you are complete and not false. You are not trying to impress or prove a thing, because it is already proven, you are worthy of love.

Living authentically means to be happy with who you are, as you are. When you desire nothing, there is nothing lacking. From this place you can live and act with calm, confidence and love. Here, all actions are taken with non-violent intent and whatever you touch, whatever you are doing, or not doing - just existing - is a loving experience. You are alive and in harmony with nature.

Behind the curtain of the essential “material life”, sits another world. Those who are stressed and trapped in the material world cannot know it; their running about, their religious loyalties and fears imprison them. But behind that curtain, there is an order in the chaos. Everything is seen to be functioning perfectly; there is nothing to change. From this viewpoint there is perfection in everything, an order, a perfect order in any chaos. We can see that everything is working to a perfect pattern, and love is that perfect pattern.

This is real wisdom. Beyond religion, it is a silent awareness that love, consciousness, and a certain stillness sits behind everything. We can see it from behind the curtain, separate, in this short moment away from materiality and our ego. We can see the order in the chaos, the patterns of creation, the laws before the laws, love.

You can argue with nature, but you can’t win. Your authenticity is transparent. You may say, “I am a yoga teacher” but people see through you. You may say you are happy, but your disease reveals you. There is no escape from the laws of nature, they are universal.

However, finding true authenticity does not mean that you are satisfied on the outside. It simply means that you are satisfied on the inside. True authenticity means that you, the inner you, has extinguished all inner turmoil. But this does not mean that your external world is unproductive. No, it means that you are not reacting, causing problems, stressing people, and lying to yourself. Authenticity means that you are living with integrity, and aspiring to all the great material joys life has to offer with a peaceful heart.
