Sacred Love - The First Key, Stillness

All movement is caused by imbalance. The search for balance is natures motive. All planets move, all winds blow and the tides ebb and flow, based on the search for balance. Nature seeks balance in all her existence. This is the cause of all the vibration that creates life. If any molecule in the universe were to actually stop this quest, an explosion would rock the entire existence of all. The entire universe would be destroyed. This is the power of stillness and stillness is the power of love.
All emotion is movement, vibrations of life expressed in thought and feeling. The greater the imbalance in those thoughts, (the more fundamental and righteous) the more potent is the motion. This is what we call emotion. Love can not exist in the presence of emotion, stillness and movement oppose each other. So in our daily life, as we seek more, wish for less, desire better, hope for change, try to conform, react to the past we emotionalise our love, and in doing so, cause its destruction.
Stillness is another word for inspiration. Stillness is not static. But in stillness we forget the past and the future, we arrive, without emotion. We are, in this moment a conduit for the love that exists behind our daily drama. To try to be still is impossible, we are already still behind all our hopes. This is the first law, that behind all our thoughts, beliefs, feelings and fears, love sits, waiting for us to forget ourselves and simply fall back to the truth that is behind all.
At our deepest level we know this. And that is why stillness reveals itself only when we are doing what we love, being with who we love. We forget ourselves. In nature, this experience is potent yet, it is essential for our relationship to be based on this core, otherwise, we are like leaves in the breeze, grasping, holding, hurting.
The first key, the first law, is the law of balance, and in balance we find the deepest experience on which to base our love. And that experience is, stillness.
