The motive of all nature is movement, that movement has a purpose, it’s purpose is to evolve and it evolves always at the border of chaos and order. Although we may dream of an ordered life, business or relationship, such an animal does not exist, we, like all of nature must evolve. We are a part of something far greater than our wishes and therefore are subordinate to the law of evolution – growth.
But what is growth? Is it more money, more cars, more love, more knowledge? These may well be the human measures of growth, but to nature, the universe, that are flotsam on the surface of water. The true measure of growth can only be seen in love. Remember, if you are always right, you’ll be alone at night.
We are evolving whether we choose it or not. Nature has a plan. The universe is expanding, and so are we. This expansion is not random, but follows a certain order. This is the evolution of life, your life, and the second law of nature ensures this path will be followed.
That all things must evolve brings forth some of the most wicked experiences on earth. A Tsunami, an earth quake, a fire, the extinction of specie, all these things are not random events but form a part of a very predictable and unchangeable destiny.
Although human beings think they can control destiny, they cannot. We certainly master small fragments of it, but such fragments form a part of a bigger story, and that story is already written. Evolution occurs at the border of chaos and order, both in the structure and development of the environment of this planet, and in our relationships.
Love is not a static thing. Ebbs and flows of emotion guarantee the evolution of our own personal universe. Rigid thinking blocks growth, conformity to philosophy and religious fundamentalism blocks growth. Righteousness in relationships blocks growth. Being right, guarantees you will sleep alone at night.
Challenge and support are, together the essence of love and therefore the highest alter of respect in relationship. Compliance makes us compassionate. Independence makes us strong. Both are vital in love. Support helps us relax, challenge confronts our ego. Love evolves at the border of both. This is how the first key dovetails into our relationship. We are always seeking balance and as we move from high to low, we grow. As long as we are not stuck in our, Ego.
