How Couples Can Get Intimate Without Intercourse

Oftentimes, intimacy is too much equated with intercourse that the other possibilities for achieving satisfaction are opted for only as an afterthought.  The truth is, intimacy involves the entire build-up, and there are many ways to get intimate without necessarily being involved in the actual sexual contact. 

The following are a few ways to enhance intimate moments with your partner, while prolonging the thrill of the experience.

The touch - most people treat touching-feeling as part of an immature idea on sex.  It is true that almost all sexual experiences begin with touching and feeling, in an effort to find out how a partner's body can feel like, which touch excites it, and which ones do not. 

Because this is usually done in haste, or by experimenting in the dark, there are few chances to fully grasp it for all its worth.  The next time you get intimate with your partner with touch, take your time, and take it very slowly; you'll be surprised how much you can communicate to your partner with just a simple caress.

The vibe - we seldom realize that we send out vibes to other people, those which usually cause them to react; this is because the tendency is practically second nature, and we do this without even thinking about it.  Your boss' foreboding mood is telegraphed across the room, causing you to hesitate in your tracks and turn the other way. 

The same thing applies with intimacy; if you've ever felt goose bumps and tingles after your partner looks at you a certain way, then you should get the idea.  It may be sent over a glass of wine or on the sofa, while you are holding hands or pulling over on the garage, it doesn't matter; the energy is felt, and if it sent at the right time and with the right mood, a response is bound to occur.

The talk - some people believe that dirty talk is a sensitive element of sexual contact.  This is true to a certain extent; your partner may not be open to the idea of suggestive or vulgar speech before or during intercourse, or there may be certain words and phrases which go over the line.  But most of the time, the talk is an important sexual element. 

You can also add to the thrill by using other means of stimulation, such as watching adult videos prior to the act.  Adult videos can spice up the act by contributing to the building anticipation.  If you're partner isn't too keen on such a suggestion, he or she may have a wrong impression on the issue. 

Make sure that you show your partner in a loving way that adult videos and dirty talk can enhance the experience, and that he or she should at least give it a try before making any conclusions.

As potent as each of these methods may be, these are even more effective if they are complemented with each other.  Intimacy covers many facets, verbal, psychological, and physical, that using all the tools at your disposal can only result in a heightened experience.
