Superstitions and Friday the 13th - Lucky or Unlucky?
Friday the Thirteenth has been considered by some people to be a very unlucky day, when no matter how much you try, things can just go wrong and it is beyond your control to do anything about it.
This legend may have it's roots in the old story that Jacques de Molay of the Knights Templars was executed on Friday the Thirteenth and that perhaps a curse of sorts exists to this day springing from that incident said to have happened long ago.
In reality, what people believe becomes true for them, and that affects every part of their lives. If someone believes that Friday the Thirteenth is an unlucky day, then it will prove to be an unlucky day for them.
We give too much power to things outside of ourselves when we fall for that old superstition. In other words, some people may believe that they have no control over the fates and that they must succumb to the unluckiness that Friday the Thirteenth will invariably bring them.
When we choose to believe that Friday the Thirteenth is a Neutral day, or better yet a Lucky day for us, then it becomes just that. What we believe to be true becomes what IS true for us. It is our beliefs which create our own reality.
One theory about why some people consider the number thirteen to be unlucky really goes back to a time when the existing Matriarchal Society and way of thinking was being threatened and overtaken by a Patriarchal Society.
The number thirteen represents the actual number of 28 day cycles that occur in a year, which is a natural month for women. The Feminine connection with the number thirteen presented a challenge to a different sort of thinking and philosophy espoused by the Patriarchal movement.
As the Church at that time tried to eradicate the old ways and convert the people away from the older Matriarchal Religions and bring them under the jurisdiction of the Patriarchal Church, it was necessary to make anything positive associated with the old way of thinking bad or unlucky.
This is basically an out of date concept today, especially with many people seeking a return to the Divine Feminine. Even the guys are trying to get in touch with their feminine sides.
So let that old superstition about Friday the Thirteenth being unlucky die. And replace that thought with a new understanding that Friday the Thirteenth is as lucky for you as you believe it can be.
Believe it. Know it. And so it is.

Under-employment results in under-consumption combined with under-investment caused by the extremely high a rate of interest. Theoretically, it is possible to influence both these factors. Under-consumption is due in large measure to the fact that many consumers are limited in the satisfaction of their needs by too small an income, while a minority do not consume the whole of their incomes.
