Candid Wedding Photos are Fun

Hiring a professional to take your wedding photos is definitely worth the investment. You want to have quality photos of your special day that you can keep forever. However, you should also consider some candid wedding photos as they can be fun. There is always plenty going on while preparing for the wedding, during the ceremony, and at the reception. Yet it is impossible to take it all in at once.

While your professional photographer is taking the great photos of you during the wedding and the reception you can have others taking those candid shots. There are several great ways that you can make that happen. You may know some individuals with a love of photography that will be attending.

Ask them if they would mind taking those candid shots throughout the ceremony and reception for you. Chances are that they will be more than willing to do this for you. Work out the details such as if you will be paying them or if they will do it for free. If they will do it at no charge you should be willing to pay for the film and for the developing.

Another option is to place disposable cameras on the different tables at the reception and at different areas of the wedding location. Place a note with them asking guests to please take some fun candid shots throughout the events. Let them know you want to see all of them having a great time. Your message should also encourage them to take pictures of themselves and others around them. You don’t want them to only be photographing the wedding party and the new couple.

Select a location where they can drop off the disposable cameras once they have been used up. That way they can easily be gathered at the end of the wedding reception. These types of cameras don’t cost very much at all. They will allow you to have some great wedding shots from different perspectives. You are going to have a great time going through them.

Make sure you offer lots of cameras so that you can get hundreds of great shots. It is going to be amazing to see all that was going on during your wedding and reception that you may not have been focused on. These photos really tell the entire story of all that took place that day. The more photos you have the more you will be excited about them when you get them back.

Keep in mind that not all of the candid wedding photos are going to turn out. That is okay though, so don’t have too high if expectations. There are going to be enough fabulous ones that you will really be happy you decided to add that type of photography to your wedding day events.

After you develop your candid wedding photos, you can decide which of them you would like to keep. Others you can give out to the wedding guests along with some of your professional wedding photos. It is perfect to place all of these photos into the envelope with your thank you letter. They will really enjoy getting those extra photos of them enjoying themselves the day of your wedding.

It doesn’t cost very much at all to have fun memories of your wedding and the reception through candid wedding photos. This is an idea that gets many people involved with your event. If you haven’t considered it in your planning, you still have time to implement it. This process won’t cost very much but the memories that are produced will be priceless.
