One of the hardest decisions for a wedding is where to have your reception. If you are going to rent a hall then you must make sure that both it and the location of the wedding are available on the same day at the same times. This can become difficult if either one of those entities are quite popular.
Of course you can choose to hold the wedding and the reception at the same location to cut down on such conflicts. This is becoming more and more common as people do their best to keep the total cost of a wedding and all that is part of it to a very manageable amount of money. If you are on a tight budget then this can also help you to make the money you have to work with stretch further.
There may be a special place where you really want that reception to be held. If that is the case make sure you discuss it with your partner very early on. You don’t want them to feel pushed into it and you don’t want to miss out on your chance to host the wedding reception of your dreams. Discuss the cost involved too because many venues are expensive. Make sure you have an idea of the budget for the reception so that you can stay within it.
If you are having your wedding locally then you should know some great places to have that reception. It can be indoors or in the lovely garden that your friend has in her backyard. The number of people that you plan to invite to the reception is important to consider as you need to have enough room for all of them. If you are hiring a band then there needs to be room for dancing to take place as well.
You also have to factor in the weather for an outdoor wedding reception. If it is too hot that time of year then you need to have some way to offer shade. If there is a chance of rain then you need to be prepared for that as well. With some careful back up plans though you should be able to pull it off no matter what Mother Nature sends your way.
Consider how getting into that venue is going to work out. For example if you rent a hall that is up many stairs do they have an alternative way for those that can’t climb then to get in? Are you going to be able to get up those stairs in your wedding dress without stepping on it? Don’t forget the process of carrying all the supplies in and out to get ready for the event as well.
If you are having your wedding reception away from where you reside then you will need to do some checking around. You can easily get information online and even take a virtual tour of the location. This way you can secure the location for your wedding reception even though you haven’t yet been able to travel to that location.
Your wedding reception is going to be your first social gathering after you are pronounced husband and wife. You want it to be a wonderful even that is also affordable. You want everyone to be comfortable and you want to be able to enjoy yourself at the event. Take your time to search for the perfect location for your wedding reception. The time you invest in doing so will help you to have wonderful memories of the even for a very long time to come.
Wedding venues are always the first important thing that a new couple should consider when they planning their wedding. Ambassador lounge is one of the wonderful reception venues Sydney.
