Throughout time, flowers and brides have been closely associated to one another. In ancient Rome, a woman was ready for marriage at age 14 and her wedding veil had to be topped with flowers, which she had to gather herself.

Wedding candy preserves the tradition of associating flowers with the most important day in a woman's life. Planning a wedding usually take several months and sometimes even a whole year or so, but candy comes and goes along the way.

Whether you are the bride, a bridesmaid or just family or a friend, think of candy as your best ally through the different stages towards the wedding day.

Hard candy is the way to go when it comes to creating your own decorations, wedding favors or preparing a bride's gift, and there are a large array of cookie cutters, candy molds and other kitchenware for making candy at home with flowers shape.
