The hallmark of these make up kits is that they are not fragrant, contain no form of preservative or dyes to increase their shelf life.  This means that it is not prone to create allergies or skin reactions. This naturally increases the face value of the woman using the products. Mineral make up can be used by people having sensitive skin and also those who have undergone plastic surgery. People who already have skin conditions like acne, pimple, redness, itchiness can safely use mineral make-up or long periods without any side effects.

No make up comes without certain flaws. Natural make-up with minerals tends to crack and the crust can come off.  In some older women, the wrinkles also show after a while. But if mineral makeup is advantageous otherwise, ways can be found to circumvent the problem. Since it also comes as loose powder, it is difficult to carry it around.  Some companies have found ingenious ways to figure this out. Urban legend has made a small pot with an applicator brush. Colorsciences has a retractable brush to carry the loose powder. Mineral foundation powder is becoming popular with new age women who are not afraid to experiment.
