A Good Pair Of Jeans Goes A Long Way

For as far back as I can remember I’ve been a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. I’ve found this casual approach to attire is not only comfortable but reflects my casual outlook on things as well. I love waking up in the morning knowing exactly what I’m going to be wearing and not having to match things up or worry about who I might or might not impress during the day.
Once I was about six years old I began to become aware of what the other kids, particularly my friends where wearing and found myself comparing to what most of the other children wore to school in those days. Up until that time my parents dressed me fairly casually but I was always in something more formal than my schoolmates. Not long after my sixth birthday my parents began asking me what I wanted when it came time for new clothes, both for play as well as school.
Jumping into the way back machine I can still remember how cool I felt in my first pair of designer jeans. Of course I had owned jeans before as a toddler and wore them outside of school but as I stated previously school was more of a formal occasion for my parents. It was the beginning of the 1979 school year and I was never more excited to show off my new clothes as I was that year. As many kids at that age believe, I thought I’d walk into first grade, sporting my new designer denim and be the talk of the playground. Though I ultimately felt like part of the crowd at that point no one cared what I was wearing and I just settled into my new look quietly
The majority of people go through different clothing trends during their lifetime in search for an identity. I was an exception to this rule. I never really strayed from my Genetic Jeans, and more so in those early days my Toughskin denim. As the years passed the only thing that really varied was the brand of jeans I received mostly by choice. Growing up I was mainly a Levi’s type of guy but as I got older my tastes in denim styles changed.
Now as an adult not only do I want the best bang for my buck I also like designer jeans that fit my style yet offer conformability as well. These days I’ve graduated to Taverniti Jeans, James Jeans, and even True Religion jeans. I find these jeans not only affordable but are a better fit for me both physically and style wise. I have found as I’ve gotten older that some of the more popular brand of denim jeans are either to baggy, to tight, or just don’t fit quite right around my waist and legs thus making them uncomfortable to wear. The designer jeans I’ve been buying for the last five or so years are like the jeans I wore as a child. They’re not to snug and they’re not to loose. They give me freedom of mobility all the while remain rugged and durable for the months, and in some cases years to come.
I’ve also taken to shopping online for both my jeans and t-shirts as it not only saves times but allows me to find what I like. It seems that over the past decade retail stores have followed only the hottest trends and shy away from carrying different styles of the same product which makes it difficult for someone like me to find what they’re looking for. I like most other online shoppers have their favorite one or two websites that I utilize on a regular basis but I’m always on the looking for a new pair of jeans as that’s all I wear. Even my wife is now buying her Sheri Bodell jeans online. She’s got the same casual tastes in attire that I do so it works out well when it comes to shopping.
As a life long lover of designer jeans I will never understand how anyone is comfortable in slacks and dress pants but I suppose they have their place and purpose. I’d rather be comfortable and casual than spend my time trying to show however how much class I have.
A fan of designer jeans and t-shirts, Scott lives a casual lifestyle which is reflected in his casual style of dress.Article source: Expert Articles
