Stop The Bill Collectors Now!

You can stop those pushy and pesky bill collectors, legally. Fight back! Public Law 95-109 gives you the power to do so. This law was drafted an enacted for you, the consumer. Public Law 95-109 allows you legal right to do many things in aspect to your credit.

Understand that a bill collector is just that, a bill collector. Nothing more. His or her job is simply to persuade you to pay back money borrowed. It is absolutely nothing personal. So, keep it that way! However, bill collectors can be both persistent and relentless, thus causing unneeded stress. You can put an end to it once and for all. Simply follow these steps.

1) When you receive a collections call, immediately obtain the name of the agency, the address of the agency, and the creditor that they represent.
2) Inform the agency that wish to receive no more calls to either your home or your place of business.
3) Follow-up with a written a demand that they cease and desist from further contact.
4) Mail this written demand certified mail return receipt requested. This insures that they received your letter.

It is important the above steps are followed correctly. It is legal way to stop collection calls, afforded you via Public Law 95-109. But remember this will only put a stop to these calls it will not make the debt go away. The debt was incurred and must be dealt with accordingly.
