The continual population growth in the UK has led to overcrowded cities, which have now started to invade suburban areas. Some people believe that investments should be made in land which is nearer to residential areas. While others consider it to be a big mistake, the fact remains that land investment in the UK is certain to bring fruition and profits!
Government officials believe that the most suitable land for sale would be the green field areas. However, rural officials believe that this would lead to a misbalance in the ecosystem and the plans for building on the green belt would only create demand for more land to be made available.
Rural officials believe that the best substitute to the green field areas would be the brown field areas and this in turn would help preserve the existing green belt. The Government rebukes this by saying that the land developed from the green field area will not only help solve housing problems, but will also create jobs; thereby solving some of the unemployment crisis.
It is being considered by some that buying land-for-sale in the UK countryside, before planning permission is granted, as being capital growth insurance. One of the most important steps in buying land-for-sale is to carefully choose the spot where you would like to invest your money. Therefore, one must choose the right land agent, and a solicitor to advise you and offer you the best solutions for all the legal concerns, regarding land-for-sale investment.
Once you have bought your land you must obtain planning permission so that your land yields more profit. The planning permission will allow you to build your house on your site. As pressure rises on the Government for more land to be made available for building, they have given the go ahead with the green field area development and soon the local authorities will be granting permissions to build on it.
In case building permission is not granted, the land does not devaluate. On the contrary, the value keeps on increasing over the years.
