Levitra vs. Cialis: which one is better? Or, since they both seem to get the job done, is one really better than the other?

Let’s discuss how the drugs are alike and how they are similar. Levitra and Cialis are both erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs designed to increase the flow of blood into the penis to help a man attain an erection for sexual activity. The drugs have similar molecular structures in terms of chemical composition; they are both called PDE-5 inhibitors. Levitra is sold in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg doses. In comparing side effects, there also isn’t a lot of difference. Both Cialis and Levitra can cause the general side effects of PDE-5 inhibitors: cause nausea, skin flush, upset stomach, runny nose, nasal congestion and even rashes in some cases. So there’s not a lot of difference here.

Having said all that, the word on the street is that Levitra is favored by  guys wanting a shorter span of erection-capable time, while men wanting the luxury of having that 36-hour window are going to use Cialis, or “the Weekend Pill” as it’s sometimes called. So it’s probably six of one, half a dozen of the other, since they are a little different as far as the time element goes.
