Who doesn't want to look beautiful? Everybody wants, men and women as well.

Statistics reveal that more and more men are interested plastic surgery as 1.5 million operations were performed on men in 2005. According to American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the top five procedures asked by men in 2005 were nose reshaping, transplant of hair, eyelid surgery, liposuction and breast reduction. As a general characteristic, men usually choose less-invasive surgeries such as Botox injections, as well as collagen injections, chemical peels and microdermabrasion.

For men, plastic surgery is not a taboo area any more. On the contrary, it can help them in their social life and professional career as well. Nowadays men realize that there isn't anything that effectively than a youthful appearance.

Due of severe competition in business or workplace, men realize that good looking is as important as having perfect skills in their professional area, because the usual way to judge a person is by his appearance. If a man wants to be a trustful leader, then he must look young and fresh. If he wants to be a good businessman, then, first of all, he must be confident in his appearance. On the other hand is a fact that people like to do business with nice looking persons.

Job insecurity is another factor that makes men to care about their look. Nobody wants to hire a person looking washed out. On the other hand, men in their 40s and 50s must compete with young colleagues for few available jobs. Surgical techniques and recovery times are very effective now, thus a man can leave the office early on Friday and go back Monday morning with a new look.
