How to Boost Binaural Beats Power
Binaural beats can be very beneficial in improving physical, emotional as well as spiritual health. But in this world of polarity where light cannot exist without darkness, good cannot be discerned without evil, tall cannot be distinguished as tall with short; binaural beats can also be harmful to you without proper preparation as you will soon see.
About binaural beats:
If each of our ears hears different single tone frequencies, our brain tunes in to the difference of the two frequencies and generates brain waves correspondingly. For example if your left ear, hears a tone with a frequency of 200hz or 200 cycles per second and your right ear hears a tone of 203hz, your brain generates a brain wave pattern equivalent to the difference of 200hz and 203hz which is 3hz or 3 cycles per second.
About brain waves:
Our brain generates different brain wave patterns depending on our activity. Brain waves during waking are different from the brain waves when you are sleeping, in a sports activity or daydreaming. Different cycles or stages of sleep also have different brain wave patterns.
Binaural beats – brain wave entrainment:
Medical scientists have used binaural beats to help people with regards to improving health and treating ailments with psychological related conditions. Patients are ‘doses’ of binaural beats using headphones and targeting brain wave patterns designed for the specific condition.
Delta waves (0.3hz to 4hz) are targeted to help patients recover from physical and emotional exhaustion; theta waves (4hz to 7hz) to enhance creativity and perception and so on.
How to prepare yourself for ‘doses’ of binaural beats:
Your thoughts are very powerful. What you think constantly and deeply produces physical and chemical reactions in your body. Thoughts which are positive in nature produce corresponding positive chemical reactions in your body.
With this idea in mind, binaural beats can make its potency even more powerful. Thinking of positive thoughts or thoughts which make you happy or smile before having a binaural beat session can go a very long way as far as your health is concerned.
We are constantly preoccupied with our daily worries. Replacing that with positive thoughts and emotions can boost and enhance the healthful benefits of binaural beats
If you are targeting the delta brain wave which is associated with deep relaxation and restoration of the body’s physical and emotional conditions, a binaural beat frequency of 0.3hz to 4hz is needed. The best time for this is when you are going to sleep. Happy thoughts before the session combined with a comfortable mattress bed and you will surely be physically and emotionally rejuvenated. Your body’s healing mechanisms will work far more efficiently and to your benefit.
Whatever brain wave pattern you are targeting, always prepare your mind with happy and positive thoughts. Positive thoughts can heighten or amplify the positive health benefits that binaural beats can bring. Likewise, negative thoughts can cancel out the health benefits and is also harmful for your well being.
To increase your creativity, perception and learning capabilities; a binaural beat frequency targeting the theta brain waves can be very effective. Once again, condition your mind with positive thoughts before going into a binaural beat session.
