Put Your Body Cells In Kickboxing Mode
Today the probability of dying from medical error or hospital-contracted infections is more likely but we can not turn our heads the other way to a possibility that can bring serious consequences to our health. Biological warfare has been used throughout history and the proliferation of micro-organisms, and toxins of microbial, plant or animal origin to produce disease or death in humans, livestock and crops can be a monumental threat to our health and well-being. Today pathogens for diseases like salmonella, anthrax or smallpox, to name a few, could be used as agents for biological weapons. But what can we realistically do right now to prepare our biological domain before these lethal microorganisms such as contaminated pathogens for diseases have entered the cells to release its poisonous infectious materials inside the body? Put your body cells in kickboxing mode. I am sure you are all familiar by now with the principle of proper food combining, if not sure, you can do a search on the subject to find valuable information on this subject. To put your body cells in kickboxing mode you must follow three fundamental protective steps on a cellular level.
Fundamental number one is cell oxygenation. Pollution changes the chemistry of our body fluids therefore our biological domain. I call the overall environment of our cells the "biological domain." When the biological domain is out of healthy range, cells are at high risk to absorb a wide spectrum of acute and chronic diseases, physical deterioration and more rapid aging which is then translated in the outward appearance of our body, our moods, our attitudes and energy levels. Pollution, stress and our consumption of highly processed foods tend to create acidic body fluids, a characteristic compatible with certain diseases. If the cellular environment is not properly hydrated, the trillions of cells in our bodies can not communicate with each other to maintain healthy life. Crazy free radicals dangerously swim through the body creating oxidation of the cells. Free radicals are unstable toxic compounds generated daily by metabolic processes. Poor eating habits, stress, pollution and other factors increases the number of free radicals in our bodies from normal to abnormal amounts. This can impair the intracellular DNA and RNA cell membranes and other important molecules in the cellular environment. When cells oxidizes the first thing it does is give up an electron. Antioxidants donate an electron but at the same time they steal an electron from another antioxidant to become stable. Most antioxidants work that way. However, there are some other type of antioxidants that to stay stable release a molecule with an 'extra' electron to neutralize a free radical oxygenating the intracellular environment with abundant electrons and minerals keeping our body pH in top shape.
Fundamental number two is cell Alkalization. All body functions are virtually altered by pH changes. pH means the activity level of (the power of) hydrogen in fluids. The combination of hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon are the biochemical functions of our bodies but 'hydrogen' is the most important because of these four elements hydrogen makes up 90 percent of the universe with helium and all other elements resulting in much smaller percentage. What this means for us is that hydrogen plays a crucial part in our cell health status. The cells of a healthy body are alkaline while the cells of a diseased body is below a pH of 7.0. Cells become overly acidic in pH due to consumption of processed foods, stress, improper food combinations, drinking sodas and pollution. An alkaline, versus acidic environment is believed to be one of the major deterrents to tissue damage. Our bodies produce acid as a bi-product of normal metabolism but it does not produce alkalinity. To find out the status of your cellular environment you should start with checking your saliva pH every morning on a regular basis. You can ask for a saliva pH test kit at any health food store. It is very inexpensive and it will give you a good picture of the acidic or alkaline state of your health. If your pH is below 6.0 you are highly acidic and at high risk. If you are at 6.0 to 6.6 you are acidic and at risk. At 6.8 you are slightly acidic and at 7.0 to 7.4 you are in the ideal range therefore it is vital to be able to maintain your pH in the alkaline range and to do so you must supply your body with highly bioavailable source of minerals, trace elements and antioxidants.
Fundamental number three is cell strengthening. In our busy lives we all want (and need) more energy too because energy is a focus activator. Energy helps us get through the next workout, stay alert and focus more clearly on the task at hand. There are wonderful herbs that have now been proven to strengthen immunity such as ashwaganda, astragalus, maitake mushroom and a whole range of recently identified nutrients which demonstrated to protect healthy cells from toxic damage and enhance immune system function. Unquestionably, we can't personally defend against every conceivable warfare attack but, we must take it personally to prepare our biological domain to fight for us when our lives truly depend on it.
