Breast Augmentation: From Raleigh to Beverly Hills, Women Want a Natural-Looking Result

Although there are still some women who are interested in very large breast implants, most women today considering breast augmentation surgery are interested in a natural looking result with a breast profile in proportion witht he rest of their frame. No two patients are alike, so it is important to individualize the surgical plan for each patient’s own needs.

After one or more pregnancies, many women experience a loss of breast volume combined with some ‘stretching out’ of the breast skin. In many of these patients, an implant of moderate size will restore a very pleasing breast contour. In patients with significant drooping of the breasts, a mastopexy (breast lift) can be combined with the augmentation.
