Scrapbooking has become the latest craze in the crafting world.  If you aren't into it, you know someone who is.  The reason it's so huge is that scrapbooks are the perfect way to capture those special memories and give them a personal touch.  It's a way to make your own memory book and with all the supplies out there, you can make it look professional at the same time.  So, what are the best gifts that you can give to a scrapbook lover?  Here are the ones that make the top 8 list.

Storage

Even if someone has just gotten into the scrapbooking craze, they will soon accumulate lots of little bits and pieces.  It is essential for them to have some sort of storage system in place to keep it all under control.  Little baskets and carrying bags make great gifts because they versatile and easily fit into an existing system.

The great thing about kits is that they are based on a theme and colour scheme.  They include a variety of paper, embellishments, accents and more.  When you give a kit as a gift, the kit includes all the necessary supplies, so you don't have to worry about what supplies the person already has.  As well, everything in the kit matches and compliments each other.  The colours, shapes and textures are all co-ordinated so that no one item is too dominant and overpowering.

The simplicity of rub-ons and stickers makes them incredibly popular and versatile.  Ranging from cartoon characters to alphabets to word phrases, there is something here for everyone.  When buying rub-ons and stickers, stick with either a theme or an assortment of unusual stickers that are sure to delight.

Pens, Pencils and Markers

A big part of scrapbooking is journaling - that is, telling a story or writing down important facts.  And the writing doesn't have to be plain or boring.  These days the range of colours and effects that pens, pencils and markers come in is astounding.  In addition, the ink from specialized pens and pencils is meant to last a lifetime, without fading or smudging.  These pens and pencils make great gifts because you can give the person something they normally wouldn't try on their own or spend a lot of money on. 

Brads and Eyelets

Brads and eyelets are an important part of scrapbooking but are often overlooked.  They are used to hold pieces of paper together and add interest and colour to the page.  Since they are very inexpensive and come in a variety of shapes and sizes, you can easily create your own gift basket of brads and eyelets.  Simply purchase a large variety and place them in a small fabric gift bag.  Presto!  You are done!
