Good or Dud - Does Paid Posting Work?
Over the last couple of years we have seen a major increase in the number of Internet Online Forums, covering any subject you could ever think of. The increase in the number of Forums has encouraged an increase in the number of Paid Posting Companies, but what can they do for you?
To appreciate the benefits of paid posting, we need to breakdown the main attractions of Online Forums.
The main attractions of any Forum are the impression that the Forum is busy, with many members and many posts. This makes a potential member feel that their opinion would be appreciated, and reach a wide audience.
The quality of the posts, subjects and sections is also very important, and is a useful way to stimulate thought and attract people to your Forum. You need to keep members and potential members stimulated, and get them in the mood to post their comments and thoughts.
How can you achieve the above goals?
Paid Posting is an excellent way to increase the membership of your Forum, the number of posts, and introduce differing views. The better Paid Posting Companies have highly skilled posters, who are articulate and able to post their comments with confidence, on a wide range of subjects.
Due to the pool of Posting Talent available, it is easier for the larger Paid Posting Companies to match their posters to projects which will utilise their strengths. It is no use having a computer expert posting on a Health Forum - if you dont have an interest in the subject, it is very difficult to produce stimulating posts.
What about the cost?
In the Paid Posting industry, you get what you pay for. If you want short one liners, commenting on existing posts, you can get these for a few cents. If you want quality, stimulating replies and new threads, then you will pay a little extra - but nothing major.
When you compare the costs of Advertising, to the cost of Paid Posting, you will start to see the advantages of Paid Posting.
A decent advert may costs you upwards of $100, whereby you could get upwrads of 300 posts (including replies and threads) for the same price. Imagine the scene, you spend $100 on an advert and attract 100 people. The only problem is that your Forum is empty, and the potential members decide to call back at a later date.
While, if you had paid for 300 posts, you would attract new members by word of mouth and have something for potential members to think about, and look at. The more posts your Forum contains, the more potential Search Engine hits - the more Search Engine hits, the more FREE advertising on Search
Engines.
In sumary, Paid Posting is an excellent way to fill a Forum with stimulating comment and subjects - at a very attractive price. While all Forums can benefit from Paid Posting, it is the newer, or less populated Forums which will see the quickest results, and pick-up in activity.
