With each passing day, the competition grows in the area of article marketing.  What are you going to do to ensure that your campaign stands above the rest and generates the traffic that you need?  Here are some ways to energize your article marketing strategies and get readers who will visite your website.

First of all, make sure that your articles contain fresh, valuable content for your readers.  Give them what they’re looking for whether it’s new information in your area of interest, a review of new technologies, or a new spin on a how-to guide.  Your readers will appreciate that you have taken the time to create an article that provides something other than a rehash of old information and will be more likely to follow through to your website.  Providing something new is by far the best way to energize your article marketing endeavors.

Remember to use keywords in your articles while following the appropriate guidelines.  Keywords are essential for your articles to be visible in the search engines, but you need to make sure that you follow the density allowed by the article submission sites and search engines.  As a general rule, your articles should have an approximately 3% keyword count.  Not only will this make your articles easily found on the search engine, but it is better for your reader as well.

Do not use your article as a sales pitch.  Not only does this violate the rules of most article publishing sites, but it will turn off your readers as well.  Your readers are looking for information, not a “buy me” pitch.  Your articles can and should be related to your product but not an overt advertisement to it.  Instead, use the content of your article to inspire the reader to visit your site by providing them with useful information and makes them want to know more.

Try to connect with your readers when writing your articles.  If you can develop a relationship with your audience through your article’s content and language, you are on your way to more traffic.  Try to keep the tone of your article conversational while showing that you are an expert in this area.  Try to grab the readers attention at the beginning of the article so that they read to the end instead of moving on to the next article halfway through.  If your article holds their attention and, optimally, leaves them wanting more, they will be more apt to continue on to your website.
