Alright, if you are a newbie to the internet income game, then you need to read the first two paragraphs of this article. If you are not so new skip right to the third paragraph because you probably already know the information that follows in the next paragraph. I am going to teach you how to earn multiple income streams online. It is not a difficult strategy, but it will require some work on your part.

Let me explain, first, why you want to earn multiple income streams. Having more than one type of income coming in is only good. I would rather be working with 5 programs that are all making me over $1,000 a month than one program that is making me $2,000 a month. It only makes sense, but you still have to pick your programs wisely and stick with them.

Online income is some of the easiest income to earn, if you are willing to put in some work and you stick with it. Heck, my first affiliate program never made me a dime until the 6th month. Then, all the sudden it made me over $500. Of course, I was working with other programs to make my income also, but sometimes it just takes time.

So you are probably wanting to scream at me and say get to the teaching already, Ben. Ok here is the three step lesson to earning income from multiple streams online.

Step #1 – Finding some programs to work with.

How many you choose is totally up to you, but you want to make sure you can put in at least a few hours a week with each program. I work with 6 different programs right now, but I started with 3 and built my way up. As you get the hang of promoting one program you will be able to do it in a shorter amount of time and then you can add a new one.

Step #2 – Promoting the programs

This is the funniest thing to me. When you sign up to be an affiliate usually the company has some marketing tips or even a training program. Most affiliates completely ignore this and just try to do it themselves. This is why they fail and give up.

Seriously, don’t you think that if the company offers training you should use it? When you make a sale they make money so they are going to put the best methods in front of you. They will give you proven techniques. Use these techniques, trust me they work.

Step #3 – Learning more and more about your programs and how to promote them

It is very important that you stay on top of your industry. If you are promoting a nutritional product, then you need to know what is going on in that industry. Read articles and e books on a regular basis. You should even read your spam mail for promotional ideas. You would be surprised how many promotional methods you can discover with reading your spam.

Also, do not be afraid to spend a little money for good e books written by top marketers. I think of these as text books for a class. You pay a fee for the knowledge that the author gives you. As long as you learn something that is worth testing or using it is worth it. It is just like buying the textbook for your classes.
