Squeeze More Profits from Your Website!

You’ve optimized your website for the search engines, populated it with Adsense ads, and you’ve been accumulating great backlinks.  Your site has pages with good ranking and you are getting some traffic. Maybe you’re even getting a lot of traffic.

So how can you squeeze some more profit out of your website?  The answer is to place audio advertising on your site, and 5 second audio ads are perfect for the job. 

When a visitor lands on your page, a 5 second long audio ad plays while the page loads, and you get paid.  A second ad cannot play for at least 3 minutes after the 1st ad for any particular visitor.  Once 3 minutes have elapsed since the last ad played, if the visitor refreshes the page or clicks to a new page, a second ad will play and you get paid again.

This program is ideal for webmasters.  It is simple and easy to implement. Just a small piece of JavaScript on your page does the trick.  The ads don’t take up any room on your page, no need to match color schemes, and when they play; your visitor doesn’t have to click on anything and doesn’t even leave your page.  The program doesn’t cost anything to join, so there is no risk.

Webmasters who join the program can also allow a second form of ad called a “Key 2 Page” ad.  The Key 2 Page ad is still a 5 second ad, but at the end of the ad the visitor is advised that he can go to the advertiser’s website by pressing a particular key on the keyboard.  If your visitor “keys through” to the advertisers page, then you get paid again.  Some webmasters would rather the visitor did not leave their page and so they do not allow the optional Key 2 Page ads.

An interesting feature of the program is that once you have signed up, and placed the code on at least one page, then you are a core member.

As a core member you can sign up other webmasters to the program, and you get 5% of the ad buy income for ads played on your referrals sites.  It is a 3 tiered program. That means that when a webmaster who signed up under you signs up another webmaster you get 5% of the ad buys for ads played on the new refferals websites as well.  That is where it ends though. 

Signing up as a core member is a limited time offer.  Once there are enough core members no new core members will be accepted.  But you as a core member can always sign up webmasters to play ads and get that 5%, forever.

The program is in beta currently, and for the time being, the cost to the advertiser is $20.00 for 1000 ads. Minus $6.00 commission to the ad agent leaves $14.00 to be split between the publisher network (webmasters) and NAA.  Of that $14.00:

25% ($3.50) is distributed to the various publishers of the 1000 ads.
5% ($0.70) is distributed to the various 1000 upline referrers.
5% ($0.70) is distributed to the various 1000 next upline referrers.
65% ($9.10) belongs to NAA and/or whoever else might be in the payout chain.

For revenue generated from paid ad plays on your own sites:
For each 1000 paid ad plays, you make $3.50.

For revenue generated from paid ad plays on your 2nd & 3rd levels referral's sites:
For each 1000 paid plays, you make $0.70 (70 cents, 70 pennies)

The advantages of the 5 second audio ad program seem pretty obvious.  It’s free to join, you get paid when someone lands on your page, you can earn more money by simply referring other webmasters to the program, and your visitor doesn’t leave your page if you prefer. It does not interfere with Adsense or any other advertising campaigns you may be running, and does not take up any room on your page.

For advertisers it’s a great program because unlike with TV and radio, they know the listener is actually listening…not in the bathroom during the commercial, or grabbing a snack from the kitchen. The listener is sitting at his computer waiting for a page to finish loading.  Not only is he listening, he is ready for action. He is not speeding down the highway in his car.  His fingers are on the mouse.

Another great thing for the advertisers is the targeting that can be implanted.  The ads can be contextually based like adsense to match the content of the webpage the listener is on.  The ad can also be geographically targeted, by using zip codes for instance. And finally the ads can be targeted for time-of-day.  The targeting costs extra and so the webmasters make more money when the ads are targeted.

The 5 second audio ads are a good solid source of income for your websites, and it works on blogs too.
