Trasylol is a drug administered to patients during surgery in order to reduce bleeding and slow down the process that is responsible for blood clots. While this drug is seemingly harmless and takes on a responsible and active role in surgery, it is reported to have caused the deaths of approximately a thousand lives per month. For a drug with this high of risk, it is hard to believe that the harmful effects were not known before it was so widely distributed. Researchers estimate that 22,000 lives could have been saved if Trasylol had been taken off the market earlier.
The side effects from Trasylol include kidney failure or renal failure, heart attack, stroke, blood clot or thrombosis, and death. The FDA waited two years before releasing the harmful effects of the drug. The distribution and productivity of this drug is detrimental to the innocent lives of patients and patient’s families that underwent surgery. Many times the victims of Trasylol do not even know they received the drug. If you have had surgery in the past fourteen years, you may be at risk for the complications that go hand in hand with this drug and are equipped to file for a Trasylol lawsuit.
The FDA has still not taken action against the manufacturer Bayer who is responsible for the production and mass distribution of Trasylol. Therefore, it is up to the victims and families to file a Trasylol lawsuit against Bayer who have known about the complications since the 1980’s. It is believed that Bayer pushed Trasylol in particular as a money making scheme. Trasylol is sold at a thousand dollars while other drugs that carry out the same active and positive role of Trasylol are sold at prices of approximately fifty dollars. These other similar drugs are able to carry out the responsibility of the reduction of bleeding while failing to produce the deadly side effects.
Action must be taken against Bayer that withheld information that could have saved thousands of lives. Those who have suffered or are still suffering from the effects of Trasylol, must seek legal council to file a lawsuit. Your family is entitled compensation for all of the unnecessary hardships that were brought on by the distributors of Trasylol. Do not let Bayer get away with their billion dollar profit. File a Trasylol lawsuit immediately and make sure that Trasylol is taken off the market forever. Help ensure that future patients that go in for a routine procedure does not turn into a families worst nightmare. The manufacturers of Trasylol were fully aware of the harmful side effects of the drug. However, in attempt to make a profit, Bayer widely produced and distributed Trasylol that is responsible for claiming the lives of an estimated 22,000 people.

Provisional applications used to be the very first step of the patent application process. Provisional applications were typically written by the inventor and then sent over to the USPTO. Sometimes, these provisionals were proof read by a patent attorney even though they were incomplete. As a result, inventors would save time and money. Unfortunately, case law now requires that provisional patent applications be completely enabling and nearly match up word for word with their non provisional counterparts. - Do your own patent search - By: ANDREW SCHROEDER

The main difference between assigning a patent and licensing a patent is important.
