Some Criticize the USA

All too often Americans are overly critical of our nation and seem to buy into the World Media anti-US bias of those nations, which are clearly lesser in everyway. Recently a young lady blasted the United States and said that our military was not as strong as that of China. She then said we have the most crime and child abuse and our economy is in dire straights in the United States.

Fortunately she was sadly mistaken and as an American I could not allow such slander about my country from a fellow American. Indeed I told her when it came to her complaint about the US Military and the huge growth of the Chinese Navy I stated; Spare me your Treasure Fleet BS, China is having radiation leaks in its (3) Nuclear Submarines, old Russian junk. Our military and the new Net-Centric Warfare Technologies can defeat most any country in about 15 hours or less.

Of course when it comes to our economic might well we are more than a cut above the rest as our GDP is five times the next five nations combined. Our Middle Class is doing well and if it was not why is everyone risking their lives to come here? Our Middle Class and citizenry enjoy the lowest unemployment figures in our nations history and nearly any nations history, 4.489%.

Regarding crime and child abuse per capita we are one of the lowest in the World and anyone studying the situation should understand that our tolerance levels are also extremely low. Crime and child abuse goes unrecognized statistically in many nations because it is so abundant and ill-enforced. So, I render such condemnation about my country unacceptable and utter gibberish indeed. Let us not be so quick to judge. Consider this in 2006.
