Taliban is Winning - Part 2
To all the horrors in the world, instead of freedom today Taliban is on the march. It is more powerful today than it has ever been in all these years. The ideology is gaining grounds in the part of the world it has never fathomed before. In the last four years we have gone two steps backwards then one step forward. Let us bare all threads otherwise it will be too late.
Rule over People by the will of God
Two of the major conflicts in these past years have been the Israel – Palestine conflict and occupation of Iraq. Have we able to solve them, the reality smacks in our faces we have complicated it more than ever before. We have brought down a secular government in Iraq to impose a religious regime by oil thirsty Neo Cons and Israel wanting land as per described in the old testament in total disregard of inhabitant of the land. Is it not the case of religious debauchery. Great number of the world rulers has failed to comprehend that governments are there to fulfill the aspirations of people rather than imposing heavenly diktats.
Heavenly will to control women
Nature has made woman inferior to man so man’s power exudes from controlling women. Taliban champions this idea to the extreme. Women are here to bore kids and serve their male masters. Women are reason for all evils on this land so they must be kept in limits. One should don’t let them what they want to wear, what they want to eat, how they want to look and what they want to do with their life. If she does what she wants then she disgraces womanhood. The moralist goons has imposed dress ban in a university in India like their counterparts in Afghanistan. The day is fast approaching when the University will start telling them which subjects to opt for. The closer the subject to domestic requirements the better it is. Why on earth women had to do things as per their male counterparts. They should be free to choose their own destiny in their own way, and as per their own will.
Precedence to religious bigotry over scientific explorations
In Taliban’s world nothing exists like scientific truth, the only scientific invention they trust is the gun and rest all is Satan's thinking. I’m afraid only talibanis don’t think like that. Most of the Bush regime and his psychopath conservatives think the same way. So now we have a proposal to teach the idea of ‘Intelligent Design’ in public schools in USA. Nothing like it Mr. Bush after the ban on cloning and stem cell research. I think the next thing you should do is to make an Archbishop Head of NASA so he can prove that this whole thing revolves around our earth and we are the master of this kingdom.
In conclusion instead of freedom, tolerance and enlightenment on march we have Taliban ideology pestering our own nests. We were more progressive and optimistic five years ago then today. Argument of we better than the Taliban in imposing our ideology is in front of all of us. They destroyed few Bamiyan Buddha statues and Mr Bush and his allies are destroying the whole fabric of a nation to push it on the brink of a civil war. Like them he is justifying the use of force to achieve his ends, like them he is ruling by imbibing a sense of terror among the citizens. Thank goodness to the architect of the constitution he is not ruling to fulfill the wishes of all mighty Lord. Wake up people otherwise we all will be under Taliban tyranny very soon.
