An online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree can be acquired in several nursing specialties such as public health and school health. The degree prepares nurses for various roles in clinics and educational establishments. They can move into administrative and managerial roles quite smoothly. An MSN program deals with advanced nursing practices and encourages entrepreneurial activities. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required for an MSN course. A good grade in the BSN degree will mean that you may not be required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
