Shortage of Spanish Speaking Hospital Workers and Doctors Causing Conflicts

Most people when they discuss the problems with speaking more than one language in the United States of America they talk about how unfair it is because when Americans travel abroad they have to learn to speak the language of the country they are in. Most countries even Mexico require that you speak the language to be a citizen.

In the United States of America, which cannot be denied is the greatest human civilization ever created in the history of mankind we are not paying attention to the need to speak a single language. Communication amongst the people increasing efficiencies and when communication at critical points is not achieved chaos ensues.

Take for instance a hospital where doctors and nurses deal with life-threatening situations. Communication is the key to life or death and this is one crisis we are facing in the United States of America because patients coming into our hospitals do not speak English and there are not enough doctors and nurses who speak Spanish in order to take care of all the patients the do not speak English.

This problem is causing conflict and staff shortages in many hospitals, not to mention problems with patients. These situations are quite serious and people who are of the political correct displacement fail to realize this. We should require English to be the official language to help propel our civilization to greater heights. If not we will have further problems, which will be aggravated. Please consider this a 2006.
