Life is made to be lived according to what its made for. A manufacturer designs a product for a particular purpose. The purpose satisfies needs but if the product is not used purposefully, the end result is disaster. Acid is good, but if the user uses it accordingly, the result becomes unbearable.

Many follow the destiny of others to die off without no purpose. God made each and everyone with a particular intention. Fight to extract your destiny from its raw state other than fighting over the achievements of others who have unmask the destinies

Life and destiny are like a small boat on the sea which can take one person at a time. You cannot be in my boat likewise me. Either we both sink or one thrown overboard. I prefer to be in my boat so make it a point to be in your own boat.

The Creator's face shines when he sees his hand-made fulfilling what he intended during creation. Dominion over own's affairs is the greatest thing the Creator gave to man. The only person among the world's population who qualifies to be the person God wants you to be is you!!. It is then time to get your eyes off others and onto the Creator and your assignment. Unlimited success, joy, peace etc are before you; resist imitation!

In the Bible, Abraham, God's friend was called out from his family and friends and assigned a duty. He had to leave all and to journey to an unknown world. That was God's purpose for him and that was the only solution that can satisfy him. He left and be came successful. This means that, your success is not dependent on your family, friends and others. It depends on you!! Be your own boss. Why do you blame others for your failures. May be you will say is about your background, country, gender etc. Yes you background is nothing to write home about and your country is the poorest on earth but these does not give a licence to be a failure. God made us with choices. Some things in this world are not individually determined. You cannot determine where to be born, which parents to be born to, the gender to take on and the colour of your skin etc. These are not a necessity to your success. I think this illustration will explain it better. "You are now guilty of the offences levelled against you. You are hereby sentence 30 years imprisonment with hard labour. Your parents, wife, friends cannot see you until you finish your terms. End of the story"

This may seem pitiable. The man was confined in a room but one thing remains for him. His freedom of movement, freedom of association etc were all taken out from him. The interesting part is that, prisons confines the body but not the brain. The brain to think remained with the man. He can then change his status by thinking. It is not surprising that people stay in the prisons to do their degree courses etc. Nelson Mandela stayed in prisons over fifteen years but came out to be the president of South Africa. The reason is that, his brain was not incarcerated. Who then can you blame for your failures. Be yourself and change your attitude. If no one will dance to your music, dance to it yourself.

Lets continue our story on Abraham. The calling was for Abraham, but not Lot his nephew. Lot followed Abraham in Abraham's boat to his own detriment. The book of Genesis gives an account of this story. At first, Lot prospered but lost all within a day.

Imitators are always short sighted. Time came when the possessions of the two became so much that where they were living was not capable to hold them. The boat started to sink. Lot was asked by the boat owner-Abraham to find his. Lot chose the immediate beauty and sacrifice the future. Thus he sacrificed the permanent on the altar of the temporary. He chose the land of Sodom and Gomorrah which were latter destroyed by God for their disobedience. The latter moments of Lot was a memories of sorrows. He slept with his two daughters and got them pregnant. Oh, what a shame, a canker that will eat away the dignity of a family which was once righteous. The message is clear!!! He who follows the destiny of others either die purposelessly or in shame.

There is only one life for you-your own. Never walk in the tracks of others because your footprints will be left in theirs with your tracks empty. Combine perseverance, diligence, consistency, knowledge, wisdom etc to unmask the potential and the power in you. Let others be strangers to your destination. Contend for your land!!
