Are There Unconscious Beliefs Sabotaging Your Results?

If you're anything like me you've spent years trying to get things you want and not succeeding. It's not for lack of trying but rather as a result of your thinking - your belief system. Your results speak for themselves. If you are not getting what you want and you are doing all the actions but still not succeeding that's how you know you have unconscious beliefs holding you back.
So what to do?
Ask questions - lots of them.
For example: Is this thing I'm trying to get what I really want? Why do I really want that? Am I going after that because I want to or because I think I should? Am I passionate about it? If not, can I become passionate about it? If this is not what I really want, what then do I want? Am I focusing on too many things at once? Do I need help?
One of the things I've been working on recently is bringing in more money. As a stay-at-home mother who doesn't enjoy having to ask my partner for money every time I need something I've been trying several different ways to make money from home but unfortunately nothing worked. After several years of this I decided I needed help and enrolled in a coaching course to help me release sabotage.
It's been said that mindset and beliefs represent 90% of our results.
Take a look at your results and ask yourself if they are what you want. If not, there's a 90% chance that you have some unconscious belief holding you back. My unconscious belief was that I could not be successful and I proved that over and over again by my results, creating an even stronger belief that was self-perpetuating. Coaching helped me to look at my results with an objective non-judgemental view and tell myself "Ohhh, so that's what my belief was".
One thing to remember is that it doesn't matter where that belief came from. All that matters is that I recognised I had it and now I can focus on how I can succeed and to help me with that I will look for the evidence of that.
You may recognise negative or unhelpful unconscious beliefs too, just by looking at the negative results you keep getting (a better term would be creating). It's that easy.
List all the things you feel are not working in your life and prioritise them. Which one of those would you like to change first? Recognise that you can literally give your mind a different command and look for the evidence of the changes. That is the key. It will help you to prove to yourself that the changes are real. And you will find them, but you must look for them.
Did it work for me? Absolutely! So far I've attracted to me a part-time position that is almost tailor-made for me with a company called 'Mortgage Mums' who state on their website "Research has found many women feel that in order to achieve success in their career, they are expected to make sacrifices to their family life. Mortgage Mums strives to offer a supportive work environment where employees can achieve a satisfying balance between work and home life". Finance is an interest of mine as a result of learning about property investing. I've also attracted to me a free ticket to an internet and business seminar which gave me just what I was looking for to help me turn my website into a hub of activity and I received lots of ideas for my off-line business as well.
Try this coaching tip - see if it doesn't work for you and send me some feedback.
All the best

In Divorce Recovery, as well as any other major loss in life, acceptance is the most important and most difficult step we must take towards releasing the past and beginning a new chapter of life. By acceptance I mean the acceptance of your reality, as it exists for you right now: what is and not what we think should or could be. Acceptance means being conscious and accepting of your reality with no illusions or personal interpretations or filters. It also involves giving up blame, resentment and regret. The ability to let go of those negative emotions is true acceptance, which ultimately gives you the freedom to move forward. - Give Up Your Righteousness - By: Matthew Ferry
