#3: YOU DON’T TAKE ACTION
The secret to taking action is doing the best you can, from where you are, in the moment. You do not have to take huge steps right now. You must keep moving in the direction of your dreams, however. It is the consistent movement in that direction that gives us purpose. It creates little successes. When you start achieving little goals, and celebrate them, it builds a foundation. You are creating new ways of behaving. You are acting like a winner. You are behaving successfully.
Remember, you are a creature of habit. When you make a habit of taking action, it builds confidence, self-esteem, and momentum. It creates a flow. It attracts more success to you.
Haven’t you ever noticed that the people that are incredibly successful are busy all the time? Don’t they make it look like it is effortless? Haven’t you ever wondered how they can achieve so much? They have created a habit of taking action. They are un-stoppable. It is a natural way of being for them.
Begin with one small goal. Give yourself a time limit; in other words make it measurable. Keep focused on that one goal and move, take action. Be 100% committed to it. Keep taking action. Do not be dismayed if you encounter a few bumps along the way. The purpose is to keep taking one action step after another until you achieve that goal. Then honor yourself. Celebrate each and every success.
The Universe rewards those who take action. It is an agreement that you are living up to. You are showing up and are in the game. Connect with your sense of play as you continue to move forward. You will be rewarded with new behaviors that empower you. You can do it.
Dr. Nancy Heimstra teaches people who don't know what they want to be when they grow up an easy way to get clear on their life purpose so they can make more money, have better relationships and live the life they always wanted, by taking action.
