Do you ever wonder how some people consistently achieve their dreams despite numerous obstacles. How do they do it? The secret to their success is a subtle but important difference in thinking. For successful people, the Big If serves as the key to unlock their unlimited potential.

So what is the Big If? Although the wording may vary, the Big If has this common theme: the question is the answer.

By consistently probing with the Big If, you can acquire wisdom that contributes to the fulfillment of your heart’s desire. The answers you obtain by asking a simple question will serve as inspiration, often triggering new ideas and plans. The Big If releases your pent up energy, internally motivating you to relentlessly pursue your dream regardless of challenges and setbacks. With the Big If, you can tap into a never-ending supply of innovation and enthusiasm, propelling you and others to new heights.

The Big If is easy to use. For example, take any of your written goals and ask, "If this is what I want, why don’t I have it?" Apply the answer by creatively chipping away at the obstacle. Then, marvel at how these small adjustments in your thinking, attitude, and actions help you achieve focus to fulfill each goal.

Here is another variation, "If I am to achieve my goal, how is what I am working on right now helping to fulfill my dreams?" That one question can jerk a real knot in your tail if your energy is being spent in unproductive pursuits.

Did you know that the top 3% of the wealthiest people have written goals that they relentlessly pursue? The next 10% are financially independent and have goals, but the establishment and pursuit of those objectives are less formal. At the other end of the income spectrum are 60% of individuals barely getting by economically. That leaves approximately 27% of the people who want more from life, but are frustrated by their lack of consistent and sustainable progress. Where do you fall within this range? Are you ready to establish predetermined and worthwhile goals in every area of your life? Use the Big If to promote you from less than stellar results to the top of the class in no time!
