Motivational Speaker Asks: Where Are You My Precious?

I gazed down at my class ring, beaming on my finger, thinking, “The ocean really cleaned that up—it looks great.”
And that was the last time I remembered seeing it.
It disappeared.
Maybe I left it at the gym, I thought, so I phoned in and left a voice mail.
Also, I thought of leaving a message at my university because my name is inscribed inside the ring, and the school has my addresses, email and conventional, and my phone number, as well.
But then, I had this left field thought.
I need to meditate, to become the ring, to ask, and I know this sounds silly, “If I were the ring, where would I be right now?”
So, I closed my eyes and took on the beingness of the ring.
I postulated that I possessed the ability to broadcast the ring’s location like a radio signal.
The answer I got is that the ring is under my bed, but I searched there.
When I got home, I did a more expansive sweep with my arm and sure enough, something fumbled along in front of my fingers.
I grabbed it, and it was, indeed my ring, shiny as I had remembered it.
I hate losing things as I’m sure you do. But this time, instead of grieving and accepting the loss I did something POSITIVE about it, and you can try this, too.
It may not be a psychic experience that you’ll have. Perhaps my unconscious heard something plop out of my pocket onto the carpet, and I simply remembered the event, under a more relaxed mental condition.
Actually, I don’t need to KNOW what happened.
After all, I have what I was looking for!
