We all get sad and depressed in our lives, which is quite natural phenomena but very few people seek medical and practical help. It is very important to get your depression treated before your depression kills you. The depression is a termite that slowly bites your personality from inside. Statistics show that one in six Americans will have a bout of depression in their lives. That's a sizeable proportion of the population. But only about 50% of depressed people seek medical treatment for depression. So the numbers that we have don't show an accurate picture of the situation.
Depression is also treated with medicine but the medicines have often shown some side-effects. You may not be aware but the use of hypnosis to control sadness and reduce depression has increased to maximum extents. Hypnosis is free of all sorts of side-effects and moreover hypnosis is safe and effective. Now you must be wondering on how hypnosis helps in controlling sadness and reducing depression. Hypnosis is related to your subconscious mind. Whatever your subconscious mind listens to, it remains in the mind forever. Thus, in hypnosis, suggestions are made to your subconscious mind, which it accepts and works upon them.
Hypnosis can change the way a person thinks. Hypnosis paves the way to a more enjoyable life. The recent survey has shown that the percentage of the depressed people has gone up to certain heights and the exact reason for this has not been known yet. In some people depression is due to chemical imbalances but in others it is believed to be due to the fast paced life of modern times. People just don't have time for themselves nowadays. Increased responsibilities and growing pressures, throws them in the state of depression. This is the socio-economic cause of depression in many people. There is no one in this world who hasn't felt bad or sad now and then. It is absolutely normal to feel sad at times. But if a person feels sad all the time for no apparent reason then it is not normal human being and neither hypnosis nor medical sciences can help him. Depressed people have low energy levels and they have no interest in activities that they once enjoyed. They tend to distance themselves from people they are close to. This causes an adverse effect on their relationships. With hypnosis you can change your attitude to life. Hypnosis helps you get rid of irrational thoughts and start thinking realistically.
The 10 steps hypnosis guidelines help you to change your behavior for the best. The following hypnotic exercise helps you to get rid of the sadness and depression:
1.Sit in a cool, calm and comfortable place. Make sure that you are not at all disturbed.
2.Now close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing. Let no thoughts and feelings disturb you.
3.Now think about the time when you were sad and depressed. Notice how you felt at that time. Write down your feelings that you go through when you are sad and depressed. Recollect all those feelings in the deep hypnotic state. Hypnosis reveals you are some of the expression of a person's feelings when he is sad and depressed. -No one loves me.-No on cares for me.-I have no right to live in this World.-I am useless. I cannot do anything. -I am merely a burden on my parents. -Why has God created me?-Why and for whom shall I live?-I am waste person. I have no right to be alive.
4.Now, you know about how you feel when you are sad and depressed. Now, what you have to do is to replace all those negative thoughts with the positive feelings. You have to replace the above negative thoughts with the positive thoughts. If you do this while in the state of hypnosis, your subconscious mind is more responsive to suggestion and the chances of improvement are more while in the state of hypnosis rather than the normal state. -Every one loves me. -Everyone cares for me-I have every right to live on this world and deserve to be one among the several living individuals. -I am highly talented and powerful. Everything is possible.-I am God's gift to my parents.-God created me as a gift to my parents.-I have to live for myself and my well-wishers. -There is no talented person other than me. So, I have every right to be alive.
5.Now you have replaced all your negative thoughts with the positive and powerful thoughts. Now the sadness and depression have no place in your life.
6.You are now free and fresh with the positive and powerful thoughts guiding you instead of your sadness and depression.
7.Now, you will never again feel sad and distressed ever again in your life. Sadness and depression hold no place in your life.
8.All you have to do is to replace your sadness with the positive and strengthening thoughts.
9.As you have done this successfully, you have gained power over your sadness and depression. You are no more a victim of sadness and depression. You will never be sad. You will learn to enjoy your life.
10.Now, count from 5 to 1 and the count of 1, open your eyes, feeling light, refreshed and positive. Practice this exercise until you receive instant relief from all your sadness and depression. Remember there is no help better than self-help and thus nothing best than self-hypnosis. All the best…
