To be able to be who you want to be, to achieve your goals. Change is necessary. If you let everything in your life stay as it is, it either means that you're satisfied with your current situation, or that you will have to cope with what life throws at you.
If you want to change your situation, realize your small business ideas, you must be able to take calculated risks. You have to be open for changes. Stay open for changes means that you also open up for excitement, inspiration and creativity.
Some people have a natural ability to embrace changes. Others feel uncomfortable at the thought of changing. The fact remain, To be able to reach what you desire, you must deal with the phase of change. Here are some thoughts and ideas that might make it easier.
Start to change small daily routines. The people who have the change ability from birth, like to try different things. If you're not that kind of person, you might not appreciate to visit new places or taste new food. Do you cling to your routines because of fear of the unknown?
Take another route when you go to work tomorrow, eat something different for breakfast. It lunch in a new place. Take your spouse to a new event. These are examples of small changes anyone can start with.
Learn how new possibilities will open up. Get excited. Those who embrace changes, do it because they know new opportunities will come along. They don't think of anything bad can happen, change is an adventure, they expect it to treat them good.
The business world is no exception from these facts. Your current approach to your work may work ok, however there's always a better way. When you open your mind for changes, you also unlock the door for new ideas.
People that are afraid of changes, might turn down excellent new ideas, without even evaluate them. They lock their creativity. Let your mind stay open, make room for creativity and inspiration. Unleash your small business ideas.
To train yourself to be changeable, try to be more spontaneous. Allocate half hour a day, to do something completely different from what you normally do. Of course you're not allowed to plan ahead what to do. You must figure it out in the moment.
I know it sounds paradoxical to schedule time for spontaneity, but it's a very good way to open up for changes. Do what ever you want during the half hour, as long as it's different from your daily routine. Take a nap, play with your children, train your dog, go for a walk, watch TV, read a book, exercise, go out for a cup of coffee. It's not important what you do, as long as it's something you normally don't do that particular time.
