So, you have a beautiful gold necklace that needs cleaning? Although gold is tarnish-resistant, it does get dirty and smudged and needs cleaning now and again. Try to stay away from harsh soaps, powders, lotions, and even natural skin oils as these will actually cut down on gold’s brilliance over time. The next time you think about discarding your old toothbrush with soft bristles, think twice!
