The Lascal KiddyGuard stair gate is a safety barrier which protects children (up to 24 months of age) from dangerous places. To be used in doorways and stairs.

There is no other baby safety gate on the market like this one! The Lascal KiddyGuard's revolutionary design works on the same principle as a roller blind so that it simply 'disappears' when not in use. There is no unsightly swinging gate to bang against, no horizontal bar to trip over, and there are no metal bars for little legs to get caught in.

It is easy for an adult to operate the KiddyGuard stair gatesingle-handedly, has a unique toddler-proof catch for security, locks open or closed, can withstand an impact of 100kg (220lbs), and wipes clean. Easy to mount, the Lascal KiddyGuard can extend to protect any aperture up to 130cms wide.

My Review.

I recently purchased the Lascal Kiddyguard and I have to say it is the best stair gate I have ever used, I fitted it at the bottom of my stairs were my little one tends to go towards quite a bit! I needed a gate which was easy to use, reached an awkward size in width and was a reasonable price.

Although you do have to screw the gate into the wall from start to finish it took me about an hour, which for me on a Sunday was quite relaxing and enjoyable.

I have friends round quite a lot nowadays and they have all after using my one gone out and purchased a KiddyGuard for them selves!

So out of a star rating of 5 (1 being the lowest) here are my results:

The price does vary all over the internet and is mostly retailed in the UK, but luckily I came across a UK based website who stocks the Lascal KiddyGuard Stair Gate. Also they do a Price Match Guarantee on any baby product they sell, so you won't find it cheaper anywhere!
