Should You Buy Leather Luggage?
If you’ve been doing some research online about luggage, then you probably already know that one of the best, as well as most expensive types of luggage is “leather luggage”.
But is this a good type of luggage to buy? And is it worth the premium cost? Let’s look at the facts.
Firstly, leather luggage tends to be heavy. If you’re going to be carrying this around with you for a long time, this could be a bad feature. But on the other hand, it is often very stylish. Most quality brands of leather luggage have a definite style and elegance to them. If you are a businessperson who regularly travels, you may want to have good-looking luggage to give a better image to the people at work and at meetings and so forth.
This kind of luggage, like most types of the market nowadays, comes with the useful features of multiple compartments and exterior pockets. With leather luggage, the handle is usually leather as well… which is very comfortable on your hands.
Another standard feature is the telescopic handle, which is a must for people who like to wheel their luggage around with them in an airport. Most brands of leather luggage also have plenty of room inside, which is plenty for most business trips.
Now let’s talk about business cases. Why? Because these are invariably made of high quality leather, which classes them as leather luggage.
Some of the standard features of the leather business case are a good quality removable leather strap, for holding your luggage on your shoulder. You can also get a high quality leather case for your laptop, which would fit the executive image perfectly.
Let’s talk about the price of leather luggage. It certainly isn’t cheap, with prices ranging from as low as $200 all the way to around $1500 for the best quality leather luggage. But if you’re going to be using this for business, and the image you convey is important, then leather luggage is definitely something you must consider.
