Limousines and Personalities

From its humble beginnings as a simple, half-covered automobile, the limousine has over the course of its hundred or so years of existence changed and evolved to spawn many different incarnations--from simple Town Cars to the Hummer Limos many professional car service companies have recently started promoting as the ultimate party vehicle.
For fans of the vehicle, one of the benefits of having many different types of limo is the fact that everyone can now find a limousine that suits their personalities perfectly. Just like how people use their clothes to express their tastes and character, limousines have also now become a tool for self-expression.
The Classic Limo
Favored by executives, high-profile individuals and, if Hollywood is to be believed, mobsters and crime bosses, the classic limo is the most popular type of limousine.
In the United States, lording it over other similar vehicles is the Lincoln Town Car, the most widely used limo in the country. Measuring just around 18 feet in length and featuring plush and roomy interior, the Lincoln Town Car—and all the classic limos in general—are for those who value comfort and luxury but also tend to shy away from being overly ostentatious.
The Limo Bus
Able to seat up to 20 or so people, the limo bus tends to be the vehicle of choice of party-going, fun-loving, social animals. The features normally found in this vehicle (disco lights, surround sound system, plasma TVs, DVD players) indicate that the people who automatically make a bee line for the Hummer limo bus when they visit the showroom of luxury car service providers tend to be those who either throw the hottest party in town, or is constantly looking for it.
Stretch Limo
Far from the bland vehicles normally used as airport car service, the stretch limousine is the car for those who like to live it up like the glamorous stars of Hollywood or evoke the same sense of power as that of the world’s most influential leaders. Its grand and elegant appearance has made stretch limos the ultimate mode of transportation for those who put a lot of emphasis on style and grandeur.
Customized Limousines
If the classic limo is the embodiment of simple elegance and comfort, then customized limousines are the vehicles you’ll find on the opposite end of the spectrum. Most of these vehicles feature impractical designs and embellishments (case in point: limousines with hot tubs), but they don’t matter to fans of the cars. Customized limousines are all about being flashy and showing off, and so are the people who love them.
So what kind of limousine are you thinking of getting?
