  • Well Yippie Skippy for the FTC?

    Rating:

The Federal Trade Commissions Consumer Protection Division now says that SPAM only accounts for 67% of the email you get instead of 70% to 80% and they are attempting to call this a victory? Although no one can confirm this as it is from a media source which accepted the Federal Trade Commission’s Public Relations “PR” piece, it seems that this is nothing to toot one’s horn over? The FTC says much of the reason for this is because SPAM filters in the private sector had gotten better?Read more…
  • Bunch of Blundering Buffoons with Bananas Baffle with Blistering BS at FTC

    Rating:

Recently the United States Justice Departments Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Protection Division’s Anti-Spam Group gave a report to the United States Congress on the progress of their enforcement on the CAN SPAM Act and in this Official Report they either claimed, lied, purported, deceived or misrepresented that SPAM was down by nine percentiles? This based on the data sets for a limited skew of a company who stands to gain if the Federal Trade Commission has an increased budget next year to further scare the public into the problems of SPAM, Identity Theft and Phishing Online using their 8800 media outlet sources. I believe that this is a complete fa?Read more…
  • Department of Justice Humbled by FTC Farce on SPAM Decline

    Rating:

The DOJ or Department of Justice is completely humbled by the Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Protection Divisions Anti-SPAM Group’s dismal, degrading and disgusting demise as the worked to destroy SPAM. The CAN SPAM Act was mishandled by the Federal Trade Commission and by the FTC’s own admission has not dropped more than nine percent after climbing by some 3000% since 2000. In fact the largest growth spurt in World Wide SPAM has increased by some say 500% since the FTC jumped on the case.Read more…

  • Fraud The Consumer; FTC

    Rating:

The Department of Justice’s Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Protection Division’s CAN SPAM Act, Anti-SPAM Group had defrauded the American People say many Anti-SPAM activists. How dare the FTC report to Congress of their dismal performance after their horse and pony show about their clever and aggressive fight on SPAM? Was all that a lie?Read more…
  • CAN SPAM Act and Piss Poor Performance at the FTC

    Rating:

The Federal Trade Commission has once again admitted to incompetence, this time on their so called and previously purported; “Aggressive Attack on SPAM.” In a recent report to the United States Congress from the FTC’s Consumer Protection Division "Effectiveness and Enforcement of the CAN-SPAM Act," the FTC gave numerous excuses to their piss poor performance. In fact since the Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003, the FTC has done little more than define what SPAM is, filed 60 lawsuits representing less than one-percent of the SPAM and now further defines the problems with SPAM in a 116 page report probably designed to baffle the Congressmen with Bull Sheet.Read more…

  • Private Sector Needed to Win the War

    Rating:

The war in Spam is over seas and the insurgents are coming from outside our borders. • CAN SPAM ACT SPAM Reduction; There Goes the FTC Tooting Their Own Horn Again

    Rating:

In my opinion the Federal Trade Commission is a complete waste of money. For them to say that there little bureaucratic effort reduced SPAM is a silly notion indeed. That little pathetic agency could not sue their way out of a paper box filled with their own press releases to the media to save their next year’s budget.Read more…
  • FTC Image Tarnished Over Embellishment in CAN SPAM Act Support

    Rating:

Once again the FTC; Federal Trade Commission has embarrassed the Department of Justice in the media, but falsely claiming that the FTC had something to do with the reduction of SPAM. First the reduction is not measurable and second the FTC did not do anything of any value. Sure they filed a few lawsuits and tried to intimidate SPAMMERS, but mostly they were so busy in public relations tooting their own horn it would be hard to actually believe that they helped.Read more…
  • SPAM; Is the FTC Lying to the American People Again?

    Rating:

Recently the Department of Justice’s Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Portection Division has put forth a bogus report to Congress on their role in the CAN SPAM Act and stated in writing that SPAM has been reduced? Man in the online E-Commerce Industry believe this to be a complete fabrication, misrepresentation and bold face lie. Further many believe that those who work in the consumer protection division of the Federal Trade Commission cannot tell a lie from the truth as they so often file fake and bogus or doctored complaints in the court of law.Read more…
  • All FTC Employees Who Worked On SPAM Should Be Fired

The Federal Trade Commission has failed to curb SPAM in the last two-years since the CAN-SPAM Act was introduced. There is slightly less SPAM then before but this is hardly due to any efforts by the FTC. More so we can thanks folks like Bill Gates and Microsoft than anyone else for aggressively going after the SPAMMERS.Read more…

While we all agree that there`s way too much spamming/junk-mailing going on in our email boxes, there are a couple of things we can do to reduce the amount of mails we actually have to sift through, without having to resort to paying for expensive software that can be a real pain to set up properly. Firstly, and this is a great, little known tip.
